A Kuperus bed consists of a solid pine base with Bonell springs. The pocket springs are placed on top of this. The 275 barrel shaped pocket springs per square meter. These springs are distributed in five different zones. The zones which carry the heavier parts of the body are softer, so that the body sinks in further in these places. The spine stays horizontal whereby the body is optimally supported.
